Every taka, every discount, every free room: who, and when. Nobody rewrites it later.

Context

Mid-size hotels in Bangladesh run on a ledger and trust. Cash gets under-recorded, the drawer never matches at shift change, discounts and free rooms leave no trace, the same bKash receipt gets shown twice, and old entries get edited after the fact.

Constraint

It had to run in the browser on the phones and computers the hotel already owns, in Bengali and English, and keep showing the last known state when the internet drops. Setup had to fit in one visit.

What we built

AmarGuest: every taka lands on a room bill with who took it and when, and nothing is deleted, only reversed with a reason. Staff count the drawer blind at shift change and the gap is recorded with a name. Discount limits are set by the owner; anything above needs approval in the app or by SMS code. bKash and Nagad payments need a transaction id, and each id works once. Guests order from a QR in the room, housekeeping sees dirty rooms on their phone, and a code is generated from the day's records so any later change shows.

Result

Live at amarguest.com, built and run by Findrum. We set it up at the hotel in a day, including QR cards in every room and training for reception and housekeeping. The owner gets the night's numbers on their phone at eleven, and the day closes itself at two.
